Pão de Mel | Brazilian Spiced Cake with Dulce de Leche

The sweet that started Padoca. Pão de mel is tied to Pedro’s childhood, his grandmother’s house and the sweets she would buy for Christmas. Years later, living far from Brazil and missing that familiar taste, the search for pão de mel helped inspire Padoca itself.

Our version is soft and warmly spiced with cinnamon, clove and cocoa, filled with creamy doce de leite and covered in rich chocolate — a little taste of home, wherever home may be.
